Well, I must say, I've seen a lot of random flashes in my day, most of them being pure crap produced by hopeless 13-year-olds with a bootlegged copy of Flash. This one, though, was quite good.

I'm not sure why some reviewers are criticizing the style of this work. I liked it - how it was strictly monotone, how the scenes and rooms faded into darkness. It seemed to fit. As far as the animation itself, the only time I really disliked it was in the very first scene (the fan blades rotating, which was done rather poorly). Other than that, the frame-by-frame was pretty good. Quite enjoyable.

First off, I liked it. But it was clearly a rip-off of David Firth's style. I realize you've already addressed this, but I disagree with your statement that "Nowadays, it's hard to do anything creepy that isn't like his work." On the contrary, there are many different ways to make something creepy without using Firth's drawing and animation style, as you did. Still a good animation overall, though.

I can't understand why some of the reviewers criticized this Flash so harshly, it was great! And the so-called "poorly animated fight sequence" was one of the best parts, it had me in stitches! Excellent work.

The narration was horrible, though. The voice was so monotone it almost put me to sleep. I sped it up in Cool Edit Pro to see what the original sounded like; not much better. Tip: pitch-lowering doesn't increase expressiveness.
Author's Response:
Fair enough, well that's what I was kind of going for. Like the narrator playing a type of Mysterious, universal 'watcher' role. Obviously it didn't go down too well... A pity, I thought it worked pretty well. I guess I can't really expect much since this was just a shortened version of a section in my story, made into a storyboard type.
Thanks for watching anyways ;)

It reminded me of the hilarious landoverbaptist.org article on Scooby Doo. Great animation.

It was pretty funny. The style was alright; as you said it added to the humor for the most part, but I still disliked the lack of animation. Anyway, a good 'toon overall.

I was laughing the whole way through. The best SW parody I've seen.

One of the best AotC parodies I've seen so far. After the Jedi apprentice pulled out the "missing planet" I just started laughing so hard...superbly done.
